![]() Westwind School of Aeronautics has entered into an agreement with Colgan Air (operating as Continental connection, US Airways Express, and United Express) where Westwind Students may apply for a position as a First Officer with Colgan Air as soon as they earn their Private Pilot Certificate at Westwind School of Aeronautics. Colgan Air will interview candidates on the recommendation of Westwind at this early stage in the program, and those accepted will be made a conditional job offer as an airline pilot with Colgan. Upon accepting the job offer, the candidate will have a job waiting for them as soon as they finish the Airline Pilot direct Track at Westwind School of Aeronautics and flight instruct at Westwind for 1 year. While some schools have programs that guarantee interviews, we have a program that may GUARANTEE A JOB! ![]() American Eagle Airlines ![]() American Eagle Airlines, the wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines (AMR), recognizes the high level of training Westwind School of Aeronautics provides to our students. As a result, American Eagle has lowered their minimum application requirements for graduates of Westwind School of Aeronautics to 250 total hours with 50 hours of multi-engine time. As a graduate of Westwind School of Aeronautics Airline Pilot Direct Track Program, you will already exceed these minimum requirements and can immediately apply for employment with American Eagle. ![]() In addition, American Eagle has entered into an agreement with Westwind School of Aeronautics to have Westwind provide initial training to some of their potential new pilots. These applicants, upon successfully passing American Eagle's interview process, will attend Westwind's 4-week ACOP (Boeing 737) course. Upon completion, they will be offered a position as a First Officer at American Eagle. |
