Online Scheduling

Flight scheduling encompasses many changing variables such as
syllabus requirements, equipment availability, student and
instructor schedules, maintenance, and weather. Getting
everything to come together just right is difficult for every
flight school. At Westwind, we asked ourselves, "Who is the one
person who knows what an individual student needs on any
particular day?" The answer was simple. It's that student's
flight instructor. That is why we give our instructors the
authority to schedule their own students. Doing so ensures that
our students have the right equipment, for the right lesson, and
at the right time. |

At many large flight academies, flight schedules are created by
dispatch and announced to the students and instructors the
evening before the flight is to take place. The customer often
has no say in what time of day their scheduled flight occurs.
This makes it very difficult to plan other activities with
family and friends. Not at Westwind. Our instructors schedule
their students at least three to five days in advance, allowing
students to fly their regular schedule and still have a life
outside of school. |

To accomplish all of this, Westwind utilizes the CASSi online
scheduling system. On orientation day you will receive your very
own CASSi username and password which will allow you to view
your flight schedule online, lookup student and instructor phone
numbers, and much more. It's just one of the many ways we show
that our customers always come first. |
